From Critical Systems to Timepieces

My background has little to do with watches and everything to do with trust.

I began my IT career supporting a financial services firm, working directly with high-net-worth individuals. Since then, I've spent more than two decades consulting in IT and cybersecurity, helping protect nuclear power plants, airports, and financial institutions.

Along the way, I traveled the world, including working alongside an investor from Shark Tank.

Those experiences taught me the importance of integrity, discretion, attention to detail, and above all, trust.

Why I Started Finer Dials

I've always been fascinated by luxury watches - their history, craftsmanship, and intricate mechanics. But when I began buying and trading them myself, I discovered something frustrating:

buying a great watch wasn't necessarily a great experience.

Online marketplaces introduced sub-par authentication headaches, (often damaging contents), shipping delays, and unnecessary complications. Private transactions raised concerns about fraud, payment security, and authenticity. Established dealers offered greater peace of mind, but often at premium prices driven by expensive showrooms and overhead.

Why should buyers have to choose between competitive pricing and peace of mind?

I realized these were the same challenges I'd spent my career solving:

managing risk, verifying information, and building trusted relationships.

There had to be a better way. So I built Finer Dials.

Finer Dials combines the trust of an established dealer with the value and personal service of an independent one - without the expensive retail overhead.

I've built a trusted network of watch industry professionals, including certified specialists in authentication, servicing, polishing, and repairs, along with reliable sources for exceptional timepieces.

Every transaction is carefully vetted, securely handled, and managed directly by me.

I'm not building the biggest watch dealership. I'm building the one I wish existed when I started.
